DIY Pumpkin Enzyme mask

Image I LOVE PUMPKIN! It has to be one of my favorite things about the fall. Not only is pumpkin high in fiber, and vitamins A & C, it also contains wrinkle fighting carotenoids which are important free radical fighting antioxidants. It's no wonder why pumpkin is good for you to eat, but did you know its also good for your skin when used topically? The skincare industry has known for years, and there are countless Pumpkin masks on the market as well as pumpkin Enzyme peels performed at spas. Heres a recipe you can try at home to give your skin a boost of its own. This mask combined with yogurt and lemon juice, is great for exfoliation, hydration, acne, wrinkles, and of course, loaded with antioxidant rich pumpkin!

Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

-1 cup pureed pumpkin

-1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt

-the juice of a 1/2 of lemon

Mix ingredients together and apply to freshly cleansed skin for 10-15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and tone and moisturize as usual.
